What is NMSDC certification?
The National Minority Supplier Development Council is the gold standard for minority-owned business certification in corporate America. Its network includes well over a thousand corporate members, including most of the Fortune 500, and their supplier diversity programs treat NMSDC certification as the benchmark credential when they source, vet, and report on minority-owned vendors.
Like our other certifications, it's not a self-attestation. NMSDC certification requires documented proof of majority minority ownership, operational control, financial review, and an owner interview before the regional council signs off. Once granted, the certification is verifiable in NMSDC's national supplier database, where corporate buyers actually go looking.
