Trash Time Is Now an Orange County Certified SBE.

On June 5, 2026, Orange County approved Trash Time Valet Service as a certified Small Business Enterprise. Here's what that unlocks for county contracts, municipal buyers, and the property managers who work alongside them.

Three weeks ago we announced our OSD Certified Business Enterprise designation as a verified Minority and Women-Owned Business. Today we get to add another one to the wall: Trash Time Valet Service is officially an Orange County certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE), approved by the Orange County Business Development Division on June 5, 2026, and valid through June 2028.

If you handle procurement, facilities, or vendor management anywhere in Orange County government, this post is for you. And if you're a property manager whose portfolio touches county or municipal work, it matters to you too.

What is the Orange County SBE program?

The Small Business Enterprise program is run by the Orange County Business Development Division. It certifies that a company is a genuine, locally operating small business, verified through financial review, ownership documentation, and program screening, not just a self-declared label on a vendor form.

Orange County uses SBE certification to direct a meaningful share of county contract dollars to local small businesses. Many county solicitations carry SBE participation goals, and some are reserved for SBE-certified bidders entirely. Prime contractors bidding on county work also use the SBE directory to find certified subcontractors that help them meet participation requirements on their own bids.

What our certification covers

  • Approved: June 5, 2026, by the Orange County Business Development Division
  • Valid through: June 2028, with recertification before expiration
  • Searchable: we're listed in Orange County's official vendor system (B2GNow), where county buyers and prime contractors verify certified vendors
  • Services: valet trash for multifamily communities, junk removal, hauling, and property cleanouts across Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties

Why this matters if you buy for the county

Every department that manages facilities, housing, parks, or community programs eventually needs waste hauled, a property cleared, or recurring doorstep collection set up. When that need lands on a solicitation with SBE participation goals, every dollar spent with us counts toward the goal, with the certification already verified by the county's own division.

We're also built for the way government work actually runs. Insurance certificates on request. W-9 on file. SAM registration current. The owner answers the phone, which means questions about scope, scheduling, or site access get answered the same day, not routed through a call center.

Why this matters for prime contractors

If you're a general contractor, facilities services firm, or property services company bidding county work with SBE participation requirements, debris removal and ongoing trash service are two of the easiest scopes to subcontract to a certified SBE. We've done teardown-day hauls, recurring route work, and one-time cleanouts. Put us on your bid as a certified subcontractor and the participation paperwork takes care of itself.

Why this matters for property managers

Plenty of multifamily portfolios in Central Florida include properties with county or municipal ties: affordable housing programs, housing authority partnerships, mixed-use developments with public funding. Those properties often inherit vendor requirements that favor or require certified small and diverse businesses. With TTVS, your valet trash vendor checks that box and still shows up six nights a week.

The certification stack keeps growing

SBE joins a credentials list we've been building deliberately this year:

  • OSD Certified Business Enterprise, verified Minority and Women-Owned (May 2026)
  • Orange County SBE (June 2026)
  • SAM registration for federal and institutional contracting

And we're not done. Our City of Orlando certification is pending through the reciprocal process Orange County encourages for newly certified SBEs, and we have SBA certification applications in three federal categories under review. We'll announce each one here as it lands.
